UGL has an exciting opportunity for a
**Finance Lead** to join our Resources & Energy West business in Perth.

As the Finance Lead, you act as a business partner proactively supporting Operations with tactical and strategic decisions by managing revenue and expense reporting to ensure control, accuracy, predictability and timely delivery of results.

**About the role**
- Act as the main point of contact for the Contract Director for all financial matters
- Accountable for ensuring the month end process is run in an efficient and timely manner, complying with time schedules as per set deadlines. Active hands on participation to ensure business line meets all deadlines
- Monitoring the balance sheet of the contract, ensuring appropriate balance sheet reconciliations and documentation to support accruals and transactions in line with Accounting Standards
- Manage and monitor aged debtors and creditors
- Maintain the data integrity of financial data in SAP
- Assist Managers to analyse financial and operational information and recommending improvements
- Manage & review contract forecasts together with Finance Manager and Project Managers, including pipeline opportunities and Blue sky
- Financial investigations, cost analysis and reporting on project actuals vs forecasts
- Ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures
- Oversee operations of direct reports, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met
- Participate in regular client meetings as required

**About you**
- CPA/CA or Equivalent (required)
- SAP experience (required)
- Highly experienced in MS Excel
- Demonstrated experience in financial roles within project and maintenance contracts
- A solid commercial understanding
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Customer focused, team orientated, accountable and results driven
