Ozcare has an opportunity for an experienced Retirement Living Manager to lead the team at our beautiful Delamore Retirement Community at Kedron.

Reporting to the Operations Manager - Retirement Living, as the Retirement Living Manager, we are seeking a leader who would be ensuring the residents are independent and secure, and the village financial performance, maintenance of assets and sales are managed in accordance with Ozcare's requirements. Further to the above you will also be responsible for:
- Working with residential and community care services to meet the needs of residents for their care and health needs
- Co-ordinating and assisting residents with access care and/or community services which will enable their continued independence
- Participating in planning process to ensure cost effective operations of the village and delivery of quality services
- Managing and overseeing general stocks, supplies and equipment for the provision of operational efficiency
- Overseeing the maintenance of buildings, grounds, plant and equipment as well as investigating areas for improvement in the area of customer service and identify and implement appropriate new services to enhance service provision to residents
**Your Attributes**
- Considerable experience in hospitality, hotel or village management.
- Demonstrate a high degree of success in delivering exceptional customer service experience.
- Superior level of communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for and understanding of older Australians from all walks of life.
- A caring, compassionate and resilient nature that speaks to our mission and values.
- Robust problem-solving skills and proven ability to balance customer focus, care and business acumen.
- Strong experience in managing, coaching and inspiring team members.
- Understanding of and experience working under the Retirement Villages Act - not essential but will be advantageous.
- Experience in sales and marketing - not essential
- Previous experience in Food Safety supervision - not essential

**Role Requirements**
- Tertiary Qualifications and/or demonstrated extensive management experience, preferably in a large community service/health organisation
- Well-developed understanding of financial management and proven track record in achieving agreed targets
- Current Queensland driver's licence
- Current Police Screening Certificate
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Be vaccinated (and maintain up-to-date vaccinations) against Influenza and Covid-19
