Grounds & Maintenance Officer

**Part Time - 30 hours per week**:

- **$29.04 per hour plus Super**:

**Your Role**

We are seeking an experienced and hardworking groundsman to help maintain our retirement village at Kedron - Delamore Retirement Community.
- Mowing, whipper snipping, hedging and maintaining existing gardens;
- Assist with general maintenance of the property, general care and securing of equipment.
- A current Queensland drivers licence;
- Ensuring that the gardens at Delamore Retirement Community bloom brighter than any place else
- Maintain the village's relevant equipment and supplies, and arrange replacement when necessary.

**Role Requirements**
- Be vaccinated (and maintain up-to-date vaccinations) against Influenza and Covid-19
- Current Police Screening Certificate
- Certificate III or equivalent experience in a related area and/or A trade Qualification in the building industry e.g. Carpentry/building (desirable)
- Demonstrated relevant experience in undertaking gardening duties and the maintenance of the grounds
- Ability to empathise with disadvantaged and/or older persons
- Experience in stock management
- Good computer and mobile device skills
- Current Queensland Driver's Licence
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
