The purpose of the Paralegal position at C&K is to provide essential support to the internal Legal, Risk and Governance Team (LRG) and the broader business. This role will handle a variety of tasks that are critical to the smooth functioning of the LRG team as well as contributing to the overall vision and values of C&K.
**You’ll help us shape the future of children in our care by**:
- Assisting the LRG team with responding to Kindergarten and Childcare related matters as they arise from time to time.
- Supporting the LRG team in managing C&K’s contract management and contract review tasks, including lease reviews
- Researching local and state laws and summarise information to support the legal team in providing accurate and timely advice.
- Assisting with the administration and maintenance of the LRG Systems
**This a permanent part time role working in our Head Office located in Kedron. You will be with our team 4 days per week working 30.4 hours per week. This role is flexible with working days and hours.**

We strongly uphold our child safety policies and procedures. To thrive and succeed in this role, you will have:
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business (or relevant tertiary qualification) and membership of a relevant professional body (eg. GIA, RMIA).
- Qualifications in the areas of risk, governance and privacy or a willingness to undertake further study.
- A minimum of five years’ risk management experience in a commercial organisation and/or delivering large projects.
- Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
- Current Police Check
