Sadly, statistics have shown us that approximately eighty percent of pets are suffering from dental disease, with one in every three being diagnosed with cancer, and forty-one percent overweight. As humans we are acutely aware of the positive impact fresh wholefoods can have on our health and wellbeing, however the same hasn’t always been said for our furry friends. We're on a mission to change that, starting with nutritionally balanced, wholefood meals delivered direct to doors around Australia. Today, we are proud to share we’ve served and fed over 10 million meals to puppers and their parents across Australia, and this is just the beginning. Our vision is to create multiple nutritional products, adding disease prevention meals and supplements, and take Lyka into new markets.

Currently, we have a team of 140 pet-obsessed people on our team who share our vision. These carefully selected people are dedicated to building the next generation of technology and products to help empower pet parents to take control over their pet’s wellbeing. To date, we have raised over $40M in funding from our venture fund investments and pet industry insiders, who believe in our mission and ability to drive change in an outdated industry, providing nutrition that nourishes puppers from the inside out.

**The Team**

Lyka is growing and is on the hunt for an exceptional Partnerships Manager that will be working closely with our Partnerships team to help build amazing relationships with ethical breeder programs across Australia.

**The role?**

This role sits in the broader Strategy & Operations team reporting to our Partnerships Lead Strategy, and you will be responsible for helping us prospect and build out our breeders and vets partnership programs and future verticals. As we scale, you’ll work on a variety of project and making step changes in how we build awesome partnerships with relevant external stakeholders than can help accelerate Lyka’s growth.

**As the Partnerships Manager, your key responsibilities are**:

- Be the voice of our partners and identify business development opportunities where Lyka could play a role to help our partners grow
- Be an expert on natural feeding and help create new advocates in the industry
- Lead department projects that will help scale our operating model as the channels grow
- Establish protocols and processes for partnership engagement to help ensure Lyka’s interactions are aligned and coordinated
- Continuedly monitor and review the market landscape to recommend and develop new creative approaches to ensure Lyka’s can grow the partnership channel
- Responsible for hitting key partnership KPI’s and targets
- Working closely with internal teams including Engineering, Customer Care, Strategy & Analytics Growth, Marketing and Creative to ensure our communications are aligned with our brand

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years experience in growing new ventures and verticals or strategic partnerships
- Have experience managing commercial agreements with a range of partners large or small
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Proven ability to lead complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreements
- Demonstrated ability to explain technical terms to non-technical people
- An incredible attention to detail and consistency
- Natural problem solver and thrives on creative solutions to business challenges
- Positive, can-do attitude and accountable for delivering content outcomes
- Comfortable ambiguity and changing priorities as the business evolves. Our growth means there are constantly new things to work on every day. As such it’s likely that you’ll often be working across the board on new and exciting projects
- Passionate with nutrition and wellness - (including yourself and pets)
