As a **Property Project Officer**, you’ll play a vital role in enabling and supporting Powerlink in delivering best practice services and outcomes for our customers, land owners, stakeholders and Queensland communities. The Property team is critical in enabling the development and execution of new projects while also ensuring the optimal management of property for our existing infrastructure Here’s how:
- Utilising your effective communication skills to develop property access schedules, provide technical, administrative and project delivery support to the team in the delivery of land access.
- To ensure the cost effective delivery of approvals and tenure acquisition projects and tasks, you will provide specialist support.
- You will assist with preliminary project investigations and project management support, including scope, detailed technical analysis of transmission line corridors and new substation sites.
- Assist with the development of transmission line route selection, implementation of easement acquisition strategies and management activities.
- Develop and effectively communicate property access schedules to assist with the on ground implementation of environmental, cultural and construction related activities/surveys.
**What you’ll bring**:
- Relevant Certificate IV Qualification in Business, Property or Project Management or a related field
- A current 'C' class drivers licence
**We’d also love you to have**:
- A high level of understanding of issues relevant to route investigation, selection and approval processes.
- Extensive knowledge of land tenure, environmental constraints, cultural heritage matters, community engagement and government expectations.
- An understanding of contractual mechanisms commonly used to secure property rights and interests.
- A sound working knowledge of the design, construction and maintenance of overhead transmission lines, as well as current developments in these areas.
- Demonstrated ability reporting and analytical skills, with the ability to manage, extract and analyse data using various business systems.
