Complete control of P&L & set company Strategy moving forward
- Ability to Lead from the front & motivate an ever expanding team
- Freight Forwarding knowledge is a MUST
To be considered for this position there are several key elements that the client is looking to have ticked off for the successful individual, these are;
**People Management**
- Day to day management of the Branch with the focus on People and Gross Profit.
- Lead, support and set goals for Direct reports.
- Monitor progress of department goals with regular reviews with department and Branch Managers.
- Ensure goals are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Timely and confirmed in writing by direct reports.
- Ensure fair & efficient allocation of resources within the Branch. Adjust and manage accordingly through periods of change & transition.
**Strategical / Tactical**
- Set strategy and implement with the ELT (executive leadership team)
- Oversee pricing for product sales
- Oversee costs of supplier inputs
- Set supplier performance goals
- Staff mentoring and leadership
- New business opportunities including acquisition or new product lines
- High level facility management.
**Skillset**
- Freight forwarding background with logistics experience (is preferred)
- Has experience in the CEO role (is preferred)
- Has operated in a medium size business before
- Has experience running a company with a $20M turnover
