This is a rare opportunity for a commercially minded CFO to step into a business poised for expansion through both organic growth and strategic acquisition. With significant operations in an asset-heavy environment, this role demands a leader who can balance growth ambitions with disciplined financial stewardship.

As CFO, you'll:

  • Partner with the Managing Director and leadership team to develop and execute bold growth plans.
  • Lead all finance, treasury, legal, and property functions across a multi-site, capital-intensive organisation.
  • Provide clear commercial insight and strategic advice to support investment, acquisition, and business optimisation decisions.
  • Oversee risk management, governance, and compliance while strengthening systems and processes.
  • Develop and empower a finance team to deliver at pace in a dynamic environment.

The Requirements

This opportunity will appeal to an established CFO from a small to medium-sized business, or a commercially minded 2IC (Finance Director, GM Finance, Group Financial Controller) in a large enterprise, ready to take their first step into the CFO seat. Additionally, you'll be:

  • A CA/CPA qualified leader with experience in capital-intensive, contract-driven industries
  • A pragmatic decision-maker with strong commercial instincts, able to operate at pace in a straight-talking, execution-focused culture
