**About the Role**

The Purchasing Officer is responsible for hospital-wide prosthetic and stock needs. This position is responsible for ensuring that orders and ward requests are accurately processed within 24 hours of receipt. Ensuring a system integrity is maintained at all times. Also responsible for purchasing of replacement stocks as directed by the Manager and Purchasing Coordinators.

You will work alongside a professional team and report to the Stores and Supply Manager.

**About You**

Crucial to this role will be a high level of accuracy time management skills with a strong team focus.

Skills and Experience necessary
- Previous supply and stores experience, within the health care industry
- Experience using SAP
- Proven understanding of AS4187; handling and storage of sterile stock
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet packages (eg Microsoft excel
- Accurate data entry
- SAP Prosthesis Billing experience desired

Greenslopes Private Hospital is Australia’s leading private teaching hospital, owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care, and located just 5km from Brisbane’s CBD.
