Safety Advisor- New Graduate

We are currently seeking a New Graduate Safety Advisor ideally with at least 1 year experience in a safety role who can grow and develop with our team. This is a Perth-based safety role with no remote travel/FIFO required.

Reporting into the WA Safety Manager, the Safety Advisor role will require you to work independently (with some support), carrying out frequent visits across our dealerships in the metro area and north of Perth.

**The key responsibilities of the role will be**:

- Carry out incident investigations
- Deliver training
- Support the implementation of safety/environmental objectives/targets
- Manage safety and training systems
- Carry out Injury Management/Return to Work
- Work with personnel at all levels of the organisation to support the development of an exceptional safety culture
- Assist with carrying out audits and support sites in their completion of inspections and consultation activities
- Deliver WHS/Injury Management reporting

**About you**:
We are looking for a friendly and motivated individual with some Safety experience and skills and ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. If you are comfortable with communicating with a range of stakeholders, have a passion for multi-tasking, attention to detail, desire to develop and grow in a large national organisation and strong communication skills, this may be the role for you

**Ideally you will possess**:

- Relevant qualifications, with previous experience in a safety role (at least 1 years)
- Injury Management experience
- Desire to work with operational teams in multi-site environments
- Experience in managing key hazards such as hazardous chemicals
- Understanding of WHS legislation
- Demonstrated ability to analyse data for trends
- Experience with safety software, and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills, great prioritisation skills
- Positive attitude and shows initiative
