**Your new role**

The Safety Advisor is a key attribute to supporting the HSE Superintendent in the effective management of all employees, contractors and visitors health & well-being. The safety Advisor is responsible for supporting dynamic mining operations as well as liaising with key stakeholders on the development, implementation and improvement of Health & Safety programs and systems, as well as mentoring and coaching peers within best Safety practices

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Tertiary qualifications in Work Health & Safety
- Extensive experience and knowledge of relevant WHS legislation, standards and codes of practice
- Extensive experience and knowledge of systemic investigative and reporting techniques
- Extensive experience within a mining and processing plant environment
- Experience with Health and Hygiene Monitoring
- Experience with INX products and SRS
- Ability to develop and implement WHS policy and positively influence peers
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Driven and motivated with demonstrated efforts at self-development
- Strong work ethic, high level of enthusiasm and autonomy, and the ability to excel in a flexible, fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships internally as well as externally
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise
