The ClearScore Commercial Team plays a unique role in shaping user experiences. We are creating industry-leading relationships and integrations with financial institutions; our technology and our developers enable the creation of the next generation of consumer-facing financial technology. Responsible for partner relationships and commercial strategy, this team are on the front lines of innovation and play a key role in determining how to deploy ClearScore resources across our talented Product, Tech and Analytics teams to make the ClearScore marketplace the best place to shop for credit products.

**The Role**
As a Commercial Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the Commercial team on the core business and drive expansion into new verticals and new partnerships in Australia and NZ.
You will represent the voice of our partners to the broader business, working closely with the product team and 30+ partners on continual optimisation of the product and the conversion funnel. You will manage commercial relationships with existing partners, as well as source, build your pipeline and negotiate deals with new partners. You will also dive deep into our platform's rich data to derive key business and new initiative insights, produce reports and spot trends.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Work with Data/Analytics team to automate reporting and revenue tracking where possible.
- Provide templated weekly performance reports for our key lenders.
- Work with the Engineering to prepare tickets as requested from Commercial team to make required changes made to our lender listings.
- Support the administration of promotional campaigns with partners, including briefing in changes to internal teams.
- Work with the Product team to optimise the marketplace experience for ClearScore users.
- Support the wider Commercial Team in preparing reports for partner quarterly business reviews (QBRs).
- Own the competitor analysis for the AU and NZ markets.
- Support administration tasks required for the Sydney office
- Support the team in building a great culture for the Sydney office
**Requirements**:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to inform business strategy.
- An understanding of credit/lending landscape and market dynamics, and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies that drive profitability and growth.
- Passion and enthusiasm for the problems we are solving, and an ability to use creativity and initiative in pursuit of these goals.
- Ambitious, a high-performance track record, comfortable with ambiguity and ready to take on a lot of responsibility quickly.
- A growth mindset with a passion for learning.
- Experience working within the Financial Services/credit landscape and an understanding of how credit decisions are made would be advantageous but not essential.
- Previous work experience in any of the following would be beneficial, but not a requirement:
- A commercially focused and client-facing environment e.g. business development / account management
- Relevant work in a consumer finance or B2B tech company
