Hold a Certificate III in Community Services, Individual Support, Disabilities or similar

Australian Drivers Licence (P2 or higher)

VIC Working with Children Check

NDIS Worker Check

Current First Aid & CPR certificate

The ability to work a mixture of day, night and weekend shifts as required

As a Disability Support Worker, you'll be part of something extraordinary. You will provide day-to-day assistance, personal care, social support, and empowerment to help people living with a disability to achieve their goals and maximise their independence.

The role is a casual opportunity with consistent hours offering flexible work arrangements and great work-life balance.

**✨**Responsibilities**: ✨

Your responsibilities will include:

- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities to individuals with disabilities
- Foster a supportive and empowering environment that promotes independence and inclusion
- Assist clients in maintaining a clean and safe living space, including light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Support clients in accessing community resources, transportation, and social activities
- Administer medication and monitor health conditions, as directed by healthcare professionals
- Document and maintain accurate records of client progress, care plans, and any incidents
- Demonstrate sensitivity and respect for cultural diversity, personal preferences, and individual needs
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the care team to ensure continuity of care
- Respond to emergencies and crisis situations with appropriate care and intervention
- Uphold ethical standards and maintain confidentiality regarding client information
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the well-being of clients and yourself
- Provide emotional support and companionship, fostering a positive and nurturing relationship with clients
