**Civil Supervisor** **You will be trusted to**: - Manage earthworks activities, road and rail formation construction, pavements construction, drainage and finishing works relating to the civil construction. - Monitor part of a project to ensure your section or package of work is delivered on time and budget, within quality standards - Liaise with subcontractor supervisors on works in progress - Manage works in accordance with the Project Management Plan - Have a strong focus on personal and team safety through our "Safety is My Way" initiative - Ensure your team is fully skilled and has the required resources to meet productivity targets - Drive productivity and manage the performance of your team and subcontractors - Lead and coordinate, labour, plant, materials and subcontractors daily - Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders including Senior Management, Clients and Government Authorities. - Provide guidance and mentorship to team members - Conduct and participate in site meetings (toolboxes, pre-start, inductions and other health and safety requirements) **What you're good at**: - Previous experience as earthworks (bulk and detail), formation and road pavement construction as well as drainage. - Previous experience in a civil construction Supervisory position - Strong ability to monitor a section of work and co-ordinate resources to deliver on time and budget, while upholding a high-quality standard - An engaging and driven leader with experience in driving a high standard of work and safety - Previous experience of managing a large work crew - Be able to show competence in planning projects and recording progress - Strong IT and communication skills - Excellent safety record **Why Georgiou?** - Growing national business with a strong pipeline of upcoming projects and opportunities for career development - Competitive salary package and access to Georgiou Perks platform providing discounts to a multitude of retailers - Supportive leadership teams who care for and mentor you to achieve your full potential - Family-owned business with family driven values - The opportunity to work with a diverse and engaged group of people - Well-being leave, Paid parental leave and flexible work arrangements available Georgiou is a proud equal opportunity employer.
