The **QE Assurance Program Manager** will lead the overall QE audit program design and ensure that it is approved, resourced and effectively delivered. The scope of the QE audit program will cover all regulatory rule parts (42G, 21J, 21G,145, 147), as well as the management system, WHS, security and environment requirements across all QE regulatory approvals, as well as EFA CAMO approval.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Airworthiness Compliance & Standardisation, you will be responsible for ensuring that audit activity is planned and performed in accordance with Qantas Group standards, Qantas Engineering procedures as well as applicable regulatory and industry standards. You will also establish, monitor and support the self-audit program to be conducted by The QE business.

This will include ensuring that findings, causes and actions, to address causes, from audits are appropriately assessed and managed.

**You’ll have**:

- 10+ years experience within the Aviation Industry
- Extensive Quality or Safety experience
- Tertiary degree or training in a relevant field (aviation / aeronautical, management, engineering and / or maintenance, quality and / or safety assurance, etc) or working towards
- Lead Auditor qualifications and practical experience leading and developing investigations / audit functions and oversight programs
- High levels of strategic thinking and demonstrated capability working in complex systems
- Knowledge of contemporary quality assurance, safety practices and techniques
- Understanding of relevant regulatory and compliance environment and high-level familiarity with Australian and international Civil Aviation regulations and other regulations governing industrial workforce management (WHS, Industrial Relations, Environment, etc)
- Experience in the management and achievement of measurable results to targets
- Extensive experience operating under pressure in a closely risk-managed business environment
- Committed to staff engagement, development and business improvement
- Ability to coach and mentor to support critical business processes
- Open to challenge and debate; able to empower subordinates, manage and hold delegates accountable
- Exceptional interpersonal, presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capability to interact across all levels of the organisation
- Highly motivated, enthusiastic, with a sense of self-discipline and attention to detail
