About the Role
The Principal Advisor, Behaviour has responsibility of the following:
Lead the development of policy responses to significant initiatives, issues and risks for state schools related to student behaviour management.
Provide high level strategic advice to senior officers of the department and other key stakeholders on issues relevant to the specific accountabilities of the role.
Establish effective internal and external networks and liaise, communicate and coordinate with key stakeholders to achieve required outcomes.
Participate in and lead the work of the team to develop projects, strategic policy, guidelines, statewide service delivery implementation and program evaluation.
Other suitable duties, consistent with the duties and responsibilities of the position as directed by the supervisor or nominated delegate.
About You
The successful applicant will:
Provide leadership and direction in the planning and implementation of the unit's priorities, ensuring that the outcomes are aligned to, and supportive of, the department's commitment and agenda.
Provide project & policy planning and support to assist with the development and implementation of department strategic initiatives. This includes current and emerging Australian government and State government initiatives.
Provide high level strategic advice to senior officers of the department and other key stakeholders on issues relevant to the specific accountabilities of the role.
