National Technical Trainer

Fasten your seatbelt **Fix Network** is looking for a **National Technical Trainer **to join our team The **National Technical Trainer** will be responsible for providing the highest quality of technical training to both new and existing franchisees across the Novus network. Training will be provided in all areas of autoglass Repair and Replacement.

**Your responsibilities as a National Technical Trainer**:

- Provide ongoing support and training for both new and existing franchisees.
- Provide Novus technical training in all aspects of autoglass Repair and Replacement.
- Provide leadership for developing and directing training initiatives
- Gather and analyze information to design, develop, and deliver new training programs that are efficient and effective and have a positive impact on the organization
- Adapt training techniques to the learning style of the production staff
- Provide input on cross-training strategies
- Demonstrate in-depth process and system knowledge
- Develop and assist in the implementation of Continuous and Process Improvement ideas
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge and skills of training policy/SOP's
- Design and develop materials for all technical systems training.
- Present course material to franchisees through a traditional classroom approach, one-on-one coaching, or other methods.
- Participate in different career days, school gala or classroom presentation, in conjunction with the training coordinator.
- Attend various events or industry committees
- Follow up with operations and Strategic Partners to meet certification objectives.
- Perform training needs analysis by assessing the skill level, performance, and competence of each learner
- Conduct validation activities, exams, and formal training plan reviews or updates, as applicable; make recommendations based on results
- Promote and advocate the concepts of peak performance and self-improvement across the training sessions
- Identify relevant training needs, documentation, and opportunities
- Track participant enrolment, progress, marks, and other information by maintaining a database
- Establish and maintain familiarity with the latest in texts, materials, teaching aids, and training techniques relevant to the organization and its goals and objectives
- Generate positive attitudes and high morale in franchisees by nurturing a culture of cooperation and the enthusiasm
- Ensure that all programs are budgeted appropriately, in conjunction with the Network Training Manager.
- Handle and solve customer complaints.
- Provide training for ADAS calibration equipment
- Adhere to company Health and Safety procedures using the safety equipment provided, consistently and strictly
- Other related tasks as required.

**What we are looking for**:

- Certificate II in Auto Glazing
- TAE Cert IV - an asset
- At least 5 years of direct experience in the automotive glass Repair and Replacement industry preferred.
- Knowledge of the MS Office suite (Word, Excel PowerPoint)
- Experience in training new employees in that field - an asset
- Strong communication skills in person and on the telephone.
- Be available to work a flexible schedule.
- Interstate travel is required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
