Our client are a leading organisation and leader in their space. A household name, specialising in the entertainment industry, with a headcount of over 5000 employees nationally. **About the Role**
As the Injury Management and Wellbeing Business Partner in this large business you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining health and wellbeing initiatives, systems and processes across the national business.
This role is focused on holistic health and wellbeing improvement and you will be front and centre leading the delivery and strategy around health and wellbeing with the strong support of the executive team. You will also be responsible for providing specialist expertise and insight on claims and injury management, providing care to team members at the time of injury and throughout their recovery.
As the Injury Management and Wellbeing Business Partner your responsibilities will see you:
- Coordinate the delivery of Health and Wellbeing initiatives in line with strategy
- Plan and deliver initiatives that align to the Mental Health & Wellbeing Strategy
- Maintain the Health and Wellbeing program including promotion of the health and wellbeing calendar initiatives
- Provide specialist advice on injury prevention initiatives including manual handling, ergonomics, and workstation design, as well as adhoc project working groups as needed
- Conduct risk management activities that address health and wellbeing matters
- Build working relationships with all stakeholders that instils trust through honesty, integrity, and authenticity
- Proactively manage work-related and non-work-related injuries and illnesses towards suitable return to work outcomes
- Develop and maintain relationships with the Workers Compensation Insurer and rehabilitation service providers
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of Health and Safety management system
- Anticipate and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders, and partner with the business through collaborate and communication to meet shared objectives in the health and wellbeing space
**The Individual**
- Development and embedding of wellbeing strategy with associated programs and initiatives
- Facilitation of training to build capability and skill in leaders and employee base
- Strong background in Injury Management, including the development of effective return-to-work plans and management of insurer and broker relationships
- Qualification in health and safety or a health discipline (Physiotherapist, Occupational therapist, Exercise Physiologist, Psychologist etc)
- A passion for truly improving an employee’s experience
- Allied health background will also be a positive
