The appointee will be able to:

- demonstrate a clear commitment to leading the Christ-centred Lutheran values and ethos of the College
- have proven ability to lead an excellent school by anticipating the needs of 21st century learners and teachers
- articulate vision and strategic intent in a clear and inspiring manner
- provide executive level leadership in all aspects of the school’s operations
- demonstrate a high level of engagement in education, with thorough knowledge of developments at international, national and state levels
- be an effective community builder with proven ability to engage with a range of stakeholders, utilising a flexible and warm approach to communication
- demonstrate a sound understanding of the governance principles of a school
