About the role
Leading our ‘At home’ portfolio for product, communication and consumer strategy and execution. The grocery business is a fast paced, rapidly growing and significant contributor to our total ANZ business financial outcomes and works collaboratively across the total business both locally and with key global stakeholders to ensure we build and deliver amazing plans that excite and delight our customers and consumers.
Bringing the fire and spirit of Nando’s to life on our grocery shelves plays a critical role in our Changing Lives agenda with significant volume of our product sourced from Southern Africa, a successful grocery business transforms communities, and enables our total Nando’s brand to reach more consumers.
Specific deliverables include:
- Leading our NPD agenda to create and launch innovative offers that enable ours and category growth- In collaboration with the grocery team, support segments and channel expansion plans through product and comms.- Leading the strategy and execution of our brand strategy and in market communications for the grocery consumer- Collaborating and forming as part of the Grocery team to collectively build joined up plans that enable our success.- Working with the restaurant team to build brand plans that span our total consumer base and encourage the consumer to love Nando’s at our table, as well as to love Nando’s at their own table.- Structurally the role sits within the Marketing team but is a critical part of the Grocery team indirectly reporting to the Managing Director of Nando’s Grocery. The role has one direct report based in Melbourne who supports market activation.

As an experienced Brand Manager, you will be able to lead the development and execution of the annual Grocery Marketing plan for ANZ to deliver agreed Marketing and Business KPIs. Building brand equity and increasing sales through the development and execution of marketing initiatives. A retail background in food category is ideal but not essential. Thinking holistically about how the Grocery brand can work alongside the restaurant and delivery elements of the wider Nando’s brand, collaborating with Nando’s stakeholders to grow brand love for Nando’s together.
