**Role Description/Criteria**

The primary role of a Learning Support Officer is to tailor adjustments as directed by the class teacher, to ensure that students with diverse learning needs have access to the curriculum and all aspects of participation.

We have exciting 12 month fixed-term opportunities commencing in January 2025 for Learning Support Officers to join us.
- Junior School (P - 6 full-time)
- Senior School (7 - 12 full-time and part-time) with the ability to support in English or Maths in Years 10 - 12 an advantage
- Standard hours are 8.00am - 4.00pm
- There is potential to progress to ongoing employment

**Key responsibilities**
- To support students across the College as directed by classroom teachers and the Director of Learning Diversity
- To support some students on a weekly shared basis as directed by the Director of Learning Diversity
- Support students with diverse learning needs in accordance with their needs and the College protocols
- Attendance at meetings to provide feedback, review and plan for student programming
- Under the direction of classroom teachers, implement learning experiences that will support diverse learners
- Work with the Director of Learning Diversity in preparing documentation for the NCCD collection
