This is a great opportunity to join the Vix PMO in this PMO Coordinator role in Perth. The PMO Coordinator supports the PMO Lead in ensuring projects adhere to project governance standards whilst ensuring projects are managed and reported on in a timely fashion. This position would suit a graduate or early career entrant to the industry.

**What you'll be responsible for**:
- Provide administrative support where required for the operation of the Portfolio Management Office (PMO)
- Support the preparation and administration of project related governance meetings
- Assist the PMO lead with maintaining a standard set of practices, processes, tools, and templates for managing projects consistently and efficiently within the project controls framework
- Supporting the project controls framework based on stage gate reviews, checklists and executive approvals and reviews
- Monitor and report on compliance with established standards to ensure the project teams adheres to agreed policies and standards
- Collect, consolidate, and analyse project and program data (Scope, Cost and Risk) to support effective decision-making
- Perform project reporting (Scope, Cost and Risk) - collate project data from in-house systems, format, and provide reports to Project Managers and Leadership teams
- Assist and mentor Project Team members when required. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key business stakeholders and project managers
- Provide maintenance and control of project information e.g. Confluence pages, Risk and Issue register (where support to Project Manager is required), change control procedure and change request log, and any other relevant project documentation.
- 1-2 years’ experience within a PMO environment
- Tertiary qualification in Project Management, IT, Business and or Finance is advantageous, but not required
- Experienced in both Waterfall project delivery (PMI, PMBOK, Prince2) (our customer projects) and Agile development methodologies (Scrum, SAFe or Kanban) is advantageous
- Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to foster effective program delivery
- An appetite for continuous improvement, willingness to question the status quo and implement automation, efficiencies, and dashboards.
- Previous experience and knowledge using project management tools (JIRA, Clarity etc.)
- Ability to multitask and deal with conflicting priorities.
- Strong engagement skills with experience working with and influencing a globally distributed team.
