Project Coordinator

Responsibilities/Main Activities:

- Manage small to medium complexity level projects.
- Leads the implementation team during multiple project executions ensuring that the highest value is delivered to the customer. Ensures that all necessary skills sets are in place and work close to Resource Manager for planning allocation
- Resolves resource planning with Resource Manager
- Resolves resource technical development with Technical Manager for corresponding competency pool
- In cooperation with all other areas of services group, distributes resources and transfers knowledge among all projects executed in parallel
- Ensures the project schedule is realistic. Is accountable to the customer for the justification of any schedule changes from a technical and work process point of view, and proactively implements the necessary steps to deliver results
- Ensures all technical communication among all team members, the customer, sales representatives, Hexagon PPM management, PMO and the product center
- Manages projects from initiation through delivery
- Coordinate one or more group(s) of employees that support project needs
- Gathers required data from end-users to evaluate objectives, goals, and scope to create technical specifications
- Liaisons between technical and sales departments to ensure that all targets and requirements were understood and achievable for project proposals
- Ensures projects are completed on schedule and within budget
- Keeps leadership informed of key issues that may impact project completion, budget, or other results
- Oversees Financial operations, scheduling requirements, resource and staffing requirements, and integration efforts for a project plan
- Primary project interface to the customer to ensure specific project deliverables and contractual commitments are met
- Provides progress report updates to upper management
- Hand over information to Customer Success Manager/Rep about customer outcomes
- May perform other reasonable and related duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience Required:

- A degree or diploma in a related technical discipline (ie Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, etc)
- PRINCE2 or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus
- Minimum 3 years’ combined experience in a relevant industry and/or with similar technology in project management role
- Demonstrable experience in problem solving
- Occasional domestic and international travel is associated with this position - estimated at 30%. A valid passport is required.

Position Summary/Purpose:
Coordinates all aspects of a professional services project for clients, from definition to implementation. This position is not related to competency pools nor industry verticals. May work at customer site from time to time or remotely. Typically involves extensive interaction with sales, pre-sales, product development, and other members of cross-functional teams. Project is typically focused on the delivery of new or enhanced solutions to improve customer satisfaction through the use of technology. Project management skills, rather than technical skills, are key, but a strong technical background is often required to manage competing interests. Typically oversees schedules and budgets to ensure goals attainment.
