**Introduction**:
THE OPPORTUNITY (Ongoing flexible hours (circa 25-35 hours per week)
The Lane Retreat located on one of Bimbadgen's award winning vineyards is one of the Hunter Valley’s newest accommodation destinations. Featuring 60 premium studio retreats, each is designed for the guest to experience the natural beauty of The Hunter Valley.
The Lane Retreat is located on 15 hectares of secluded Vineyard and natural bushland and enjoys breathtaking panoramic views of the Broken Back Range offering a perfect wine country experience
We are currently looking for a casual Guest Services Attendant to join the team
Our guest services attendants are part of a high-performing guest services team possessing an above and beyond attitude ensuring guests are provided with a seamless experience.
In this role you will build and maintain positive customer relationships creating the most memorable stay possible ensuring guest return visitation
Key Responsibilities will include;
Answering calls with a friendly and welcoming tone
Preparing arrivals with necessary welcome cards and amenities
Assisting guests with dinner, tasting reservations at our other properties
Opening and or closing The Pantry
Processing sales in The Pantry and making occasional coffees as required
Processing departure accounts and ensuring accounts are balanced with no outstanding folios
Cash handling and credit card transactions
Taking guest reservations
Coordinate with internal departments daily
Stay up to date with details and offerings across all products, and use this information to assist guests and generate sales
YOUR BACKGROUND
Prior experience as a receptionist, hotel front office attendant or similar role - essential
Prior experience with PMS and end-of-day reconciliation (preferred)
Willingness to work weekends, mornings, and evenings as required
Be a strong sales-focused individual with exceptional negotiation skills
Excellent telephone technique, with the ability to connect and qualify customer needs
Good computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
A passion for customer service and genuinely enjoy engaging with the public
Must have a valid driver’s license
Availability to work on a rotating roster up to, Monday to Sunday (between 7.00 am and 11 pm).
Own transport essential & RSA Essential.
