If you enjoy working in a small team and being "on the go" all day we'd love to hear from you. This role will be a combination of all the basic jobs that make the Centre function well, meaning the role will have quite a bit of variety for you. You will be learning many skills required to finish documents for clients, such as guillotining and binding as well as everything else to help make the Centre run like clockwork. There will be some computer based work... not a lot, but you need to be comfortable with technology and be happy to learn how to use some of our systems and software. There are lots of machines that go “whirr” and “click” that have combinations of digital and mechanical setup - meaning you need to be confident wrestling them into submission to give you the result we need. As a printing company we buy a fair bit of paper (which is heavy) and ship out a lot of boxes of printed stuff (which is also heavy). You don't need to be a weight lifter, but you need to be comfortable handling boxes of paper on a regular basis. MBE Eight Mile Plains is part of a really big international group, but each Centre is individually owned and operated.
