Commercial Strategy Manager

Job Summary:
- We are looking for a results-oriented Commercial Strategy Manager to support the growth agenda of our content portfolio. In this role, you will report to Associate Director, Content and support the key strategic initiatives centered on driving revenue growth, expanding market reach, and optimizing commercial strategies for CCH iKnowConnect and CCH Parliament, our market leading solutions.
- Your work will have a direct and meaningful impact on a diverse customer base, ranging from the Big 4 to sole practitioner accounting firms, law firms, in-house corporate tax and legal advisers, government and education.

- Responsibilities:
- Commercial Performance & Reporting
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the content portfolio tracking the progress of revenue, renewals, sales and pricing uplift against the agreed commercial targets.
- Report on financial and commercial KPIs to the Associate Director and assist with upstream reporting requirements.
- Demonstrate deep portfolio knowledge so as to recommend actionable plans based on data analysis to refine and optimize the commercial strategy.
- Market & Business Strategy
- Collaborating with the product management and go-to-market (GTM) teams, develop data-driven business cases to support strategic investments, product innovation and go-to-market strategies.
- In conjunction with the GTM team, monitor pricing performance, review existing pricing models and develop new models to optimize revenue, profitability, and market competitiveness.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with the Associate Director, the product manager and the GTM manager to develop and test commercial models that support revenue growth through customer acquisition and retention.
- Provide insights and recommendations on growth initiatives, portfolio optimization initiatives and investment priorities.
- Work with finance, sales and marketing to provide the Associate Director with a comprehensive analysis of the financial position of the content portfolio.
- About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in commercial reporting and analysis, preferably in the consulting or accounting sector. Experience with PowerBI reporting an advantage.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with experience in market analysis, pricing models, business case development and revenue optimisation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a proactive approach with a focus on detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and support strategic decision-making.
