A fantastic opportunity for a Building Survey Unlimited to enhance their career development and utilise their skills and experience for the assessment of knowledge and experience to support the VBA's administration of the scheme for the registration of building practitioners under the Building Act 1993.
This includes undertaking knowledge and experience assessments, including face to face interviews, and providing sound recommendations on suitability for registration.
In addition, the Building Assessor Lead is responsible for managing the continuous improvement of the VBA's BS/IN assessment frameworks including the development, review and improvement of assessment tools, practices and processes.

**Who we are looking for**:

- Proven written communication skills with the ability to prepare clear, concise and accurate reports and recommendations on complex issues relating to the assessments and competencies of all classes of building.
- Demonstrated experience in the conduct, monitoring and evaluation of assessment practices and service delivery, either in the VET sector or industry.
- Current registration as a Building Surveyor (Unlimited) with extensive experience and high-level technical knowledge and skills as a building practitioner.
