**YOUR OPPORTUNITY**

Join our team as the Lead Assessor - Delivery, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our team of Assessors within our compliance department. Reporting directly to the Compliance Manager, you’ll lead the daily activities of our team of assessors, ensuring the timely delivery of targets, and managing assessment escalations effectively.

Additionally, you will serve as a mentor and coach to team members, providing support and guidance as needed. We're searching for an individual who not only brings compliance expertise but also possesses the finesse to manage escalations and troubleshoot assessments with internal and external stakeholders. This role offers a dynamic blend of leadership, problem-solving, and mentorship opportunities.

Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Leading and managing the daily workload of the assessment team, ensuring tasks are distributed efficiently and objective are exceeded
- Overseeing assessment escalations with finesse, swiftly navigating them to resolution
- Providing invaluable support, coaching, and mentorship to assessment team members, fostering their growth and development
- Exhibiting stellar problem-solving skills to tackle challenges head-on as they emerge
- Establishing and maintaining robust reporting mechanisms to monitor progress and performance effectively.

To be successful, you will have:

- The ability to inspire and lead autonomous individuals within a team environment
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey ideas and strategies
- Strong problem-solving abilities coupled with a proactive mindset for managing complex situations
- A keen eye for detail and unwavering accuracy in all aspects of work
- A proven track record of collaborative work towards collective goals
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the health and safety or risk industry
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or willingness to obtain
