Company Overview:
Our client is a reputable Civil construction and manufacturer specializing in Hydrotech, concrete/steel precast products for various construction sectors. They are committed to innovation and providing a comprehensive range of services, including design, manufacturing, and project delivery.

Projects Sectors: The company undertakes a variety of projects, including Large Commercial Mixed-use developments ($30m+), Multi-residential, and Civil/Structural infrastructure projects such as Bridges.

**Responsibilities**:
As a Health and Safety Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to ensure a safe and compliant work environment across all construction projects. You will be tasked with:

- Assisting the HR and project team in overseeing health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Conducting regular safety inspections and risk assessments on construction sites to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Collaborating with site supervisors and project managers to develop and deliver safety training programs for employees and subcontractors.
- Investigating accidents, incidents, and near-miss occurrences, and preparing detailed reports on findings and recommended corrective actions.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all safety-related activities and documentation.
- Promoting a safety-conscious culture within the organization and encouraging the reporting of safety concerns or issues.

**Requirements**:
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

- This is an entry-level role if you have experience in administration or assisting health and safety aspects of construction projects, send your resume through.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively communicate and engage with a diverse workforce.
- Knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and relevant safety regulations.
- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) or a related field would be advantageous.

Location and Benefits:
This position is based in Shepparton, Victoria, but may require occasional travel to construction sites across Melbourne.
