They are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to drive sales with their retail and trade customers. This is an opportunity to stretch yourself and pick up an "industry best practice" skill set working with great management and leaders who are committed to creating an outstanding culture. This opportunity exists for an experienced salesperson to focus on large range of Trade products of which the majority is manufactured in Australia. The area is predominately Sydney, Wollongong, Central Coast, Newcastle with limited North / West NSW responsibilities. **Your responsibilities** - Develop and grow positive relationships with our existing customer base. - Create demand for client's product through the Engineers, Plumbers and Bricklayers. - Work closely with our Home Builder BDMs in creating opportunities with Home Builders - Identify new opportunities. - Develop and implement innovative sales strategies. - Achieve agreed sales targets and goals. - Sales negotiations with business owners, purchasing officers, trades and merchants - Launch, educate and train customers on the product range - Find opportunities to further increase sales and deliver on those opportunities - Manage a regular call cycle and drive a clear business strategy for your area - Extract the maximum share of wallet with each customer **Your skills & experience** - Experience selling into trade customers (prefer experience with major plumbing contractors, builders, hydraulic consultants and construction companies) - Friendly and professional approach - Able to take accountability and resolve customer issues - Be prepared to delight your customers by exceeding their expectations
