**About the role at Qantas Group**

As the Financial Analyst you will be responsible for month-end close, assisting with forecasting and reporting, as well as analysis and advice on all financial aspects across your portfolio. This role requires a moderate level of technical accounting, communication and influencing skills and the ability to make appropriate levels of judgement in relevant areas.

**Seniority**

Mid Level - A role for someone with some well-developed knowledge and skills they can bring to the role and team. Typically after 2-5 years of experience.

**Core Responsibilities**
- Insights Presentation - Organize and present data to effectively communicate findings
- Operational and Financial Reporting - Analyze financial data to prepare timely reports to support business decisions
- Financial Modeling - Analyze data to create financial models that support planning and projections

**Strengths**
- Flexibility - Copes with changes and ambiguity in varying circumstances and can adapt behaviour effectively
- Numerical problem solving - Works with numerical information and performs mathematical calculations to solve problems
- Attention to detail - Accurately identifies and rectifies discrepancies or errors that exists in information and deliverables
