One of Australia’s leading consumer Fintech organisations is seeking a passionate Financial Analyst to join their dynamic, high-performing team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance Analyst is an important and varying role, engaging across all teams in the business.

The role has wide ranging responsibilities, from ensuring that accounting functions are maintained to a high level and with exceptional accuracy through to analysing business performance using financial and non-financial data analytics and decision frameworks.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Responsible for month end processes including preparation of journals and monthly reconciliations
- Preparing month end files and schedules and completing monthly client invoicing
- Accurate and timely cash allocations for client payments
- Following up overdue invoices and resolving any issues
- Timely and accurate client invoicing and efficient cash collections to minimize outstanding debtor balance
- Ensuring that the accounts payable ledger is kept up to date and reflects all vendor invoices and payments
- Weekly payment runs in line with agreed vendor payment terms
- Assisting with the preparation of BAS, payroll & income tax returns
- Timely and accurate preparation of P&L, cash flow and balance sheets for month end management and board reporting
- Assisting the Finance team with compliance and statutory reporting deliverables, including audits
- Providing support to the Finance Manager with budget and forecast requirements

**You will have**:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, commerce, or related field
- CA/CPA qualified or studying towards
- A minimum of two years’ working experience in a related field
- Self-motivated and flexible
- Excellent time management skills & proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent stakeholder relations
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong track record of delivering high quality work in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to synthesize large sets of data
- A genuine interest in personal finance
