NSW Govt Services Organisation is looking for an experienced Financial Analyst for a long term contract.

**Your new company**
A large govt training organisation requires an experienced Financial Analyst with strong Financial Accounting and reporting experience to join their team located in Western Sydney.

**Your new role**
Working with Senior Finance Analysts and Managers your duties will include:

- Providing analysis, reporting and insights for various business units using a wide range of financial data sets
- Creation and analysis of specialist business reports for monthly reporting and ad hoc projects
- Provide financial analysis and reconciliations for data integrity improvement
- Monitoring of monthly results for transaction issues with accruals, prepayments, capitalisation and project cost allocations
- Trend and business performance analysis
- Budgeting and forecasting briefings, input and analysis
- Financial modelling for projects and business units

**What you'll need to succeed**

- **Strong analytical skills and experience working in large, complex organisations**
***:

- **Advanced financial accounting technical skills and statutory accounting knowledge**
***:

- **Strong reconciliations and month end reporting process experience**
***:

- **Excellent communication and reporting skills**
***:

- **Ideally previous experience with POWER BI and advanced Excel**
***:

- **Accounting degree and Professional accounting qualifications**

***
