Our client, an ASX listed organization based in Brisbane, is currently looking for an Accounts Payable Officer to join on a temp-to-perm basis

The Company

Our client, ASX listed and a global leader in the agricultural sector is currently seeking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Accounts Payable Officer to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis.

Their head office is based in the eastern suburbs of Brisbane, and they are offering a flexible working environment where you can work from home 2 days per week.

The Role

Reporting into an experienced team leader who will be proactive in helping you settle into this position as quickly as possible; you will be responsible for a variety of duties including:

- Invoice Scanning, Optimisation and Processing
- Full function Accounts Payable duties
- Workflow unmatched invoices for approval
- Drive vendor invoice compliance
- Review and clear GRIR (goods-receipt/invoice-receipt) account entries
- Reconcile suppliers and ad hoc reconciliations as required
- Monthly reconciliation and clearing of intercompany invoices.
- Maintenance of AP GL bank accounts
- Ensure all payments are processed accurately and within agreed timeframes.
- Clarifying any questionable invoice items, responding to invoice/payment queries from other stakeholders
- Ad hoc duties

**Your Profile**

You will be someone who enjoys working in a team environment where everyone works collaboratively and where they have created a strong culture. We would like for you to have a minimum of 2 years in a similar role and be ambitious to take on a new challenge.
- 2 years + full function and invoicing experience in an Accounts Payable role
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of SAP or any large ERP systems
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic, initiative, and diligence, even in challenging times.
- High attention to detail
