**The Role**

Set within the ivy Precinct on George Street, filled with Bars, Restaurants, Event Spaces and Australia’s best nightclub ‘ivy’. Our production team pride itself on providing the ultimate guest experience, by delivering best-in-class production elements for a multitude of events.

 We work with global brands to provide unique identities for each event we host across our venues.  As a Production Technician you will be expected to:

- Responsible for working across all production skillsets including but not limited to; (audio, vision, staging and special effects) as required, to troubleshoot, identify and resolve issues.
- Work as part of a team to execute the safe and timely delivery of set up, pack down and reset of production equipment for different entertainment events.
- Responsible for all checks on event set up including but not limited to; testing of all technical equipment, presentation of stage and operational areas.
- Responsible for the installation of repaired or upgraded AV equipment in all venues.
- Responsible for the repair of faulty equipment in-house where possible.
- Advise on parts and repair orders.
- Responsible for scheduled venue checks to test AV equipment and systems.
- Ensuring that the team and venue setting are compliant with all WHS guidelines.
- Assist the production and AV teams to execute and resolve AV helpdesk requests.
- Deliver “Toolbox Talks” and safety briefings to the team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues as they arise.
- Follow a production brief to ensure all deliverables have been met to a high standard.
