Release Manager

**The opportunity**:
We’re looking for someone to join our Data Program, where you’ll be planning, scheduling, and controlling the build, testing and deployment of releases, to deliver the business changes while protecting the integrity of existing production services.

**To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have**:

- At least 3-5 years’ experience in Release delivery for large organisations.
- At least 10+ years of experience in IT delivery.
- Experience in managing complex releases.

This is a 12-month Fixed term Contract role and can be based in Melbourne, Brisbane, or Sydney.

We offer hybrid work arrangements, so you can choose to work from one of our offices in any of these locations or work from home.

**How will I help?**

You will add value by:

- Planning releases based on the roadmap for all HI Domains like product, digital etc.
- Providing support, guidance, and governance to ensure Bupa release standards and practices are followed.
- Ensuring release planning activities adhere to standards, policies, and best practices.
- Scheduling, coordinating, and managing successful implementation of releases into production; including managing the pipeline of releases.
- Conducting Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews.
- Maintaining central repository for release artefacts and release calendar.
- Working closely with Change Management for Release and Deployment to ensure smooth operation of Release Planning activities.
- Raising changes, representing in TCAB and CAB to ensure changes are reviewed and approved.
- Ensuring relevant release information is communicated timely and disseminated to stakeholders.
- Understanding and managing cross dependencies within the platform releases/cross platform releases to enable scheduling.
- Participating in all Release cutover activities including the dress rehearsals.
- Crafting implementation plan and providing a walkthrough of the plan with all stakeholders including business.
- You may also carry out any other duties reasonably requested by Bupa from time to time.
