About the team
The Delivery and Information team is the engine room behind UniSuper's core systems and platforms. We ensure high availability, stability, and performance across the board. Our mission? To partner with business units, simplify and scale operations, and deliver the technology that powers UniSuper's strategy.
Your new role
As the
Release and Transition Manager
, you'll lead the enterprise release management function across UniSuper's technology landscape. You'll set the strategic direction, ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements, and drive continuous improvement. This is a high-impact role where you'll collaborate with senior stakeholders and oversee the successful delivery of all enterprise releases.
What you'll be doing
- Define and execute the strategic vision for enterprise release management.
- Lead and mentor the Enterprise Release team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Chair the Enterprise Release Governance Committee and represent the function at executive forums.
- Ensure compliance with APRA CPS 230 and CPS 232, and manage audit interactions.
- Own the enterprise release calendar and coordinate across portfolios.
- Facilitate Go/No-Go meetings, release communications, and post-implementation reviews.
- Drive continuous improvement through robust testing, validation, and lessons learned.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and strategic vendors.
- Act as the escalation point for major release issues and incidents.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Business Continuity, or related field.
- 5+ years in IT Service Management, with a proven track record in enterprise-wide release management.
- Experience in complex, multi-vendor environments.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Deep understanding of regulatory compliance and audit requirements.
- Desirable: ITIL certification, cloud technology experience, and knowledge of financial services.
