The role is an autonomous support position, with a mixture of time spent between the Head Office on St Kilda Rd, Home & Occasional visits to Port Phillip Prison.
The Team & Role
The Technical Support Analyst role is part of the Service delivery team of four reporting into the Technical Support Manager and part of the wider Technology function. The G4S Technology function work with a mix of local and global systems, supporting a business of roughly 2500 people across ANZ across multiple contracts.
The Technical Support Analyst is responsible for the ongoing support of the many and varied technologies within G4S. Technologies including but not limited to; workstations, server platforms, back office solutions, network infrastructure, PABX's & fleet technologies

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate with vendors and other business users and provide technical assistance for all systems.
- Maintain appropriate asset management procedures for IT hardware and software.
- Monitor and maintain backup systems.
- Conduct system implementations and projects when required.
- Provide onsite support at Port Phillip Prison for all IT systems.
- Provide training to G4S staff and customers as needed.

What we require
- Broad infrastructure and software technical expertise from a support environment
- Microsoft Windows Server administration
- Knowledge of telecommunication systems
- Driver's licence
- Experience with complex network environments
- Out of hours' requirement to be on call
