We are looking for a Sydney-based sales representative to sell our list of award-winning, locally authored books to our customers, including bookstores.

This sales role offers a fair degree of autonomy and would suit someone who likes variety in their days and to get out from behind the desk to build relationships with existing customers, as well as establish new ones. You should be happy selling books to specialty retail shops, helping a children’s bookstore develop its sales of our books, and be comfortable in the head office of a key account.

You will need to be well presented, articulate, have excellent written communication, and be organised. You also need a good grasp of excel and be confident with numbers.

We are looking for an energetic self-starter with a positive outlook. and a track record of showing initiative. Sales experience will be well regarded but is not a prerequisite. A background in bookselling, publishing, education or mental health would be an asset.

You will be based from home and spend most of your days on the road visiting with customers. Some interstate travel is also required. You will need a reliable car and a valid driver’s licence.

Immediate start.

Pay: $52,189.04 - $62,000.00 per year
