**About The Role**

A Delish Affair is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our Patient catering team at Matilda Nepean Private Hospital. In this role, you will be working within a fast-paced team that thrives on delivering Patient-oriented customer service.

**Role Requirements**
- Experience in preparing food in an appealing and hospitable manner
- Reliable and detail-oriented to meet the dietary needs of patients and escalate these needs within the team as required
- Maintains good customer relations and ensures service concerns are addressed in a timely manner
- Motivated and committed contributor and effective team-player
- Prepares food for patients, visitors and staff in an appealing and hospitable manner
- Relays any needs of patients (including special diets) to the Chefs
- Maintains work practice according to hospital policies, procedures and standards

**Your Skills and Experiences**
- Experience in a similar food service, such as a Aged Care or equivalent, will be highly regarded, especially in a Mental Health setting.
- Sound knowledge of food hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Passion for excellence in customer service with a strong eye for detail
- A high degree of reliability and punctuality
- Impeccable presentation and hygiene
- Sound and effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexible shift availabilities

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Catering Services: 1 year (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Work Location: In person
