A Delish Affair is on the lookout for a caring, reliable, and experienced Casual Chef to join our team at a Private Hospital in Kingswood.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys cooking with purpose—helping us create safe, nutritious, and well-presented meals that make a real difference in the daily lives of patients.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Meal Preparation & Service: Cook and plate meals to hospital and aged care standards, ensuring dietary needs, portion sizes, and presentation are always spot-on.
  • Food Safety & Hygiene: Follow hospital protocols and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in the kitchen and service areas.
  • Patient-Focused Care: Prepare meals with empathy and understanding, knowing that food plays an important role in recovery and wellbeing.
  • Team Support: Work closely with kitchen staff and catering assistants to deliver smooth and efficient mealtimes.
  • Compliance & Records: Keep accurate records of food temperatures, service times, and dietary requirements.

What We're Looking For

Previous hospital and/or aged care chef experience (essential)

Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices

A caring, patient-centred approach to cooking

Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team

Reliability, flexibility, and attention to detail

  • working in Hospital or Age Care Settings: 1 year (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Working with Children Check (Preferred)
