Communication & Interior Design Manager

Who you are
You are a leader in the home furnishing movement and bring inspiration, passion and motivation through your deep understanding of Life at Home and current Home Furnishing trends. You are inherently driven, solution-focused and believe in challenging and finding ways to inspire our customers and co-workers through meeting and exceeding their needs. With strengths in people leadership and stakeholder management you have the ability to influence and drive the growth agenda by maintaining customer focus and inspiration whilst maximising profitability. You will have proven commercial and project management acumen where you have successfully secured operational excellence, brand and visual identity. You will be required to work during store trading hours and one in four weekends (both Saturday and Sunday).
**Responsibilities**:
As the Communication & Interior Design Manager you will inspire, influence and secure IKEA’s position as a leading home furnishing retailer in the local market. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Create and secure the visual identity of the store and play an active role as the creative director to inspire our customers and co-workers through home furnishing.
- Secure and champion inspiring range presentation solutions, an optimal store layout and effective and efficient store communication that builds the IKEA Brand and distances IKEA from the competition.
- Build and deliver the retail foundation and IKEA concept whilst contributing to leading and challenging the Com&In team to constantly take actions that utilise commercial opportunities both in the short
- and long term.
- Act as a commercial business partner and proactively contribute to the local and national business plan and commercial strategy through knowledge of people’s life at home and consumer shopping behaviour.
- Lead, coach and develop a high performing team that will strongly contribute to reach the store goals, whilst securing succession.

With a great deal of knowledge on how to solve people’s needs, the Com&In team utilises smart, functional, sustainable and affordable IKEA products to create an environment that excites and engages our visitors, inspiring our IKEA visitors that they can do it too
