**APS5 Curatorial Coordinator**:

- Non-ongoing opportunity for up to 18 months
- Expected vacancy
- experience in developing exhibitions in libraries, museums, or similar institution

The Library is seeking to fill the role of Curatorial Coordinator (APS5) as a part of the Engagement Branch. This is a non-ongoing role for up to 12 months and an expected vacancy.

You will provide your professional expertise to the National Library’s Exhibition program. This may include undertaking research for exhibition proposals and developing and delivering exhibitions and displays.

You may also supervise staff including curatorial consultants and contractors.

You will draft exhibition captions and text and consider interesting ways to display and interpret the Library’s collections. You will build and maintain internal and external relationships with stakeholders and networks. These may include representing the Library and work area at meetings, conferences and other activities.

You will undertake and contribute to providing exhibition tours and talks and, at times, the media to generate interest in the exhibition and the Library’s collections.

To be considered for this position, you should have experience in developing exhibitions in libraries, museums, or similar institution. You should also hold qualifications or equivalent experience in Arts, Humanities or Social Sciences or related field.
