Sales Team Leader in Education Industry

**Responsibilities**:
**Leadership and Team Management**: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the sales team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Set clear sales goals, KPIs, and performance expectations for the team and individuals.
Conduct regular team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews to assess progress and provide feedback.
Motivate and inspire the team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
**Sales Strategy and Planning**:Collaborate with the Sales Manager to develop sales strategies and action plans that align with the company's objectives.
Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion within the education industry.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to enhance sales strategies.
**Sales Operations**:Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day sales operations, ensuring efficient and effective processes.
Monitor and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate reporting and forecasting.
Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints, providing satisfactory resolutions.
**Sales Performance Analysis**:Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Develop and maintain sales reports and dashboards to present to management.
**Training and Development**: Identify training needs within the sales team and provide relevant coaching and skill development sessions.
Assist in the onboarding process of new sales representatives and ensure they are equipped to succeed.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the education industry.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of managing and motivating sales teams.
- Strong understanding of sales techniques, strategies, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset to interpret sales data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant sales tools.
- A passion for education and a commitment to delivering high-quality services.
**Salary**: $63,788.47 - $70,000.00 per year
Supplemental pay types:
- Commission
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Brisbane, QLD 4000: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- Sales: 1 year (preferred)
