This Department is recognised for its unique and targeted portfolio with a drive to develop large scale infrastructure projects, urban renewal and accommodate for Australia's growing population. Due to expansion in the team they are seeking and EL1 Program Manager to join their team to support the program delivery.

**Your new role**

As a program manager, you will be providing program support and advisory services to the group by leveraging off existing practices with current corporate and enterprise standards. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Provide advice and technical expertise to guide program activities
- Provide support to identify, analyse and report on risks and interdependencies
- Provide program support to ensure benefits are realised and measured
- Co-ordinate and analyse program and project management reporting and activities across the group with a focus on timelines and attention to detail
- Facilitate appropriate oversight of key initiatives to give Executive and Government for assurance of delivery and outcomes
- Provide advice to ensure strategic priorities and key initiatives are deigned with clear objectives and align to broader departmental and government priorities
- Facilitate improved resource management processes for better planning management of our group’s work

As you will be engaging and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally, well-developed communication skills with the ability to foster professional relationships whilst building rapport and trust is a must.

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Demonstrated experience in Program Management
- Strong conceptual, analytical and written/oral communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and applies this to delivering quality work
- Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- The Maturity, judgement and organisational skills to manage competing priorities and deliver high quality work within deadlines

To be considered for this role you must be an Australian Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance at the Baseline level or higher.
