Primary purpose of the role:
NSW Government department located in North Sydney requires a Website Content Manager to develop clear, accessible, and user-centered written content to meet the needs of diverse audience groups across multiple NSW govt website projects.

**Key accountabilities**:

- Responsible for planning, writing, developing and editing content for multiple NSW Govt websites that supports a customer centric approach to content creation.
- Design and create written content following best practice principles and website content accessibility guidelines consistent with NSW GovernmentOneCX program standards.
- Ensure digital content is optimised for Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).
- Interpret user research and data analytics to make recommendations for improving content structure and presentation, user journeys and experience.
- Maintain strong working relationships with key project stakeholders to understand content purpose, organisational and audience needs.
- Translate complex or clinical written information into simple and readable plain English.
- Publish website content using a Drupal content management system following established quality standards and publishing workfl ows.
- Participate and contribute to the team’s Agile ways of working including attendance at daily stand-ups, project showcases and content team planning.

**Key challenges**
- Working with a wide range of stakeholders across NSW Government agencies to ensure content is approved and delivered on time.
- Converting complex or lengthy content into simple, clear and accessible formats for website audiences.
- Working within a fast-paced, agile team environment.
