Casual Role - Security Officer for Gate House

**Job Description**:
As a **Security Officer **your responsibilities will include:

- Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensuring premises are always secured and safe for staff and visitors
- Receipt of deliveries, data entry
- Ensuring compliance is adhered to at all times
- Providing guidance, observing, reporting and responding to any incidents

**This role is to be paid at level 2 as per the security award. Rotating shift is 4 × 12 hr days, 4 days off followed by 4 x 12 hrs nights, 4 days off.**

Suitable applicants **must have**:

- Previous security background and relevant security licence
- First Aid
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- High attention to detail
- Have extensive customer service experience

**Who are we looking for?**

We seek applicants who have an aptitude for security gatehouse work, ideally you will have similar experience or weigh bridge experience, dealing with deliveries, maintaining and populating spreadsheets, data entry and an understanding of tare & gross weight.

The role has a significant amount of interaction and face to face dealings with contractors, truck drivers and couriers requiring strong customer service skills and the ability to ensure compliance to site entry requirements.
