**Our **Opportunity**
We currently have an exciting vacancy within our Risk team for a Risk and Safeguarding Coordinator in an organisation committed to and leading the way in safeguarding practices of children and young people.
The role will require someone with knowledge, experience and a passion for safeguarding to support the organisation in keeping children and young people safe at the Y, in their Families and in their Communities.
Role: Risk and Safeguarding Coordinator
**Job Type**: Part Time
Start Date: As soon as possible
End date: Ongoing
Total Hours: 22.8 - 30.4 per week (negotiable)
Qualification: A Tertiary qualification combined with demonstrated risk, incident management and/or safeguarding experience. Relevant qualifications in a safeguarding related field advantageous but not essential.
Pay Level: SS6
**Interested?**
The successful applicant will be required to undertake a National Police Check and maintain a valid employment Working with Children Check whilst employed in this position.
Prior to being appointed to this position it is required that there is a full disclosure of any pre-existing injuries or disease that might be affected by employment in this position.
