CVGT has a fantastic career opportunity for a Business Trainee at a local Day Surgery. The successful applicant will be given the opportunity to expand their current skillset and get exposure to the industry, while working towards completing a qualification.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Perform general reception / office duties, preparing theatre lists, preparing patient information prior to admission, checking patient health fund details
- Data entry on company software for patient information & billing purposes
- Filing maintenance
- Daily balancing for banking
- Attend to invoicing duties
- Attend to month end duties when required - reports / data entry
- Check and order stationary stock (check quantities with Operations Manager)
- Other Administrative duties as required by Operations Manager/DON

**ESSENTIAL**:

- Carry out all duties in a professional and courteous manner and remain respectful and polite in speech, tone and actions under all circumstances
- Maintain a groomed and neat professional appearance while at work
- Attend staff meetings
- Participate in performance reviews as requested
- Remain flexible and willing to implement new or changing procedures in the future
- Remain productive during slow times by seeking additional duties such as filing, cleaning, stocking or other tasks allocated
- Maintain and project a positive attitude about the surgery, patients and co-workers
- Maintain strict confidentiality in performing duties relating to the surgery, patients and work colleagues
