**The Core Capability Requirements for this role are**:
- Contribute to the effective quality assurance and governance of IT changes to ensure risk is mitigated, appropriate stakeholder communication and approval is obtained, and a successful progression to production is achieved.
- Coordinate the compilation of Change Management documentation in preparation of the Technical Change Advisory Board (CAB) and CAB Forums, including identifying agenda items, ensuring prerequisites for changes to progress have been met, recording outcomes and distributing reports.
- Contribute to the management of emergency changes including providing advice to management and stakeholders regarding the impact and scheduling and obtaining appropriate senior management and executive management approvals.
- Monitor and assess changes made by external agencies or vendors which may impact on F&DS supported systems to ensure conflicts in scheduling are avoided, and appropriate and timely communication of changes is provided to stakeholders.
- Contribute to the prevention of Major Incidents through maintaining close working relationships with Release Management, Problem Management, Major Incident Management, and operational support teams.
- Educate F&DS management and staff in structured Change Management processes and perform continual process improvement to ensure efficient and effective local work practices.
